Description
Silicone insulated wire and cables are a popular choice for a variety of industries due to it’s operating temperature range, extreme flexibility, voltage properties. More flexibility means you can route thick wires in tight bends. silicone insulation has a higher melting point than regular PVC insulation, and therefore the wire can get much hotter before the insulator melts and/or catches fire (i.e. better temperature handling). Therefore you can use thinner wire, which has higher resistance, and heats up more compared to thicker wire. Thinner wire also translates to less weight and more flexibility.
